I'd heard of this Oktoberfest event at a pub 20min up the road from our house, kind of out in the country. I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but decided we needed to dust off the old dirndl and lederhosen and got us tickets.

So it ended up being a huge tent set up and loads of people!! They actually had some real German food and Oktoberfest beer!!
The servers made an effort, not quiet authentic but it'll do.

We happened to be sitting next to a German lady from Dusseldorf who's lived in Liverpool for 20years!
It basically became sort of a hybrid between the Oktoberfest concept and an English Night Club.
