Meet the Parents!

Mom and Dad are spending 5 weeks travelling around the UK. They started in London and came to visit us in Preston. Preston is not very exciting so we took a day trip to Liverpool.

CANADA!!!

Possibly the fasted trip back to Canada. I left Thurday morning at 6am UK time to catch the train to Manchester airport, then flew to London to hang out in Heathrow before finally flying into Calgary. First stop was the Folk Fest to catch up with everyone. Then it was off to the good ol' Rockies for Leah and Patrick's wedding. Left Sunday afternoon!

Krista and Andrew stop in for a night!!

Krista and Andrew were kind enough to grace us with their presence for 12 hours on a quick stop over in Preston on their way from London to Edinburgh during their quick trip to the UK on their worldy travel adventures!!

We met their friend Rob and ate bbq chicken wings and drank beer and cider! So nice to see good friends and hang out with some Canadians, some of our own people. Wish we could've visited longer.

A House Full of Scousers

Grant's cousin Wendy's husband Steve turned 50 so they had a big party at their house in St. Helens and we were lucky enough to be invited!! The weather was perfect, they had a really nice outdoor tent set up and an old bathtub full of ice and drinks! Great food, great cake and some fun company!!

'I'm not 50, I'm 32 with 18 years experience'

This is Grant's cousin Deborah, reading out questions we had to answer about our husbands and then see if we get the same answeres, you know the game. Try playing it with a bunch of drunk Scousers!
